McDonalds website in Croatia was built by my former company Hi-tech. It is built on very customized WordPress, using a lot of meta fields and custom post types.

My involvement in this project came after it was completed, when client realized that the homepage needed to be more fabulous. My colleague the designer and I brainstormed on the problem a lot and the solution we came up with is… a slider! But it is no ordinary slider. It spans the whole page width, and each slide has its own background color that changes between slides and affects the whole page. Each slide can also have an supplementary “upper” slide that is most often used for video materials. Go on and check it out on www.mcdonalds.hr! Be sure to find a slide that has video button on it 🙂
